My beloved nature reserve inspired me for this illustration. In my homeland, in September, families of common cranes gather in flocks and gradually fly away to warmer areas. In the nature reserve called “Homeland of the Crane” there exist suitable habitats for Common Cranes. In this place, during September we are organizing thematic Crane tours and Crane Festival.
Those who know the crane's behaviour well should know they are sensitive and shy birds. Even kilometres from the road, a group of cranes will fly away at the sight of a stopped tourist car. Only an extraordinary creature could sit peacefully in the company of dancing cranes like this. So why wouldn't a dragon be such a creature?
