I've been experimenting with my artstyle a bit and found I REALLY enjoy doing this VHS aesthetic inspired by The Mysterious House (that one Walten Files halloween spin off)

I basically do my normal digital art with the characters, then use some technique i found to make it like an animation cell. Then I make a background separately using ONLY brushes that replicate real traditional art stuff like paintbrushes and pencils and once that's done put the character image on top of it and add some noise. Then I just run it through NTSCqt (a program that adds a realistic VHS look to images and videos) and I get this.

I didn't really do much for the background in this one though. If you like the style, tell me in the comments.
