Still a WIP but getting close all the time. Still have to attach the mane, which will glow in the dark and sew the neck. I'm still not sure how I'm going to make the neck work cause my own is extremely thin. I was thinking I might put an invisible zipper under the mane.

I made this mask using the same process that the wonderful Qarrezel uses for hers. Here is a link to her tutorial overview http://qarrezel.deviantart.com/gallery/7080403 This is by far my favorite method for creating masks and in my opinion gives the best results if you are looking for a semi realistic/realistic look. I made the eyes and though you can't see them in this photo, the ears too. Feel free to ask, I don't mind questions.
It depends on the person. Just make sure that all of your products are compatible. Make sure you read up on the materials and follow the directions as closely as possible and such. My personal trial with this mask was that the material I bought for it is stretchy. It was very difficult to use and is most likely something I will never do again. Other than that If you are not an artistic person it would probably be better to just save up and commission someone to build for you rather than buying enough materials to make and remake your item until you are happy with it. Experimentation can quickly become more expensive than commission prices.
