My last waitlist commission for 
EgeBamyasi featuring his space engineer Abby. I love how this turned out so far. I would like do some scifi stuff in the future after this. And as usual, i got a bit of story that i worked on for this to explain the meaning behind the image.
Specialised in colony construction and structure. Abby, a space engineer, has been tasked with visiting planet [Redacted] colony sites to assess the viability of the building here on the swampy planet.
As her small spacecraft descends towards the wet world. The thick atmosphere, combined with her craft's high speed, shatters the control surface and overheats the electronic components required for navigation. She had lost control of her ship, which eventually crashed in the middle of nowhere.
Her ship was slowly taking in swamp water after a soft landing. Abby jumped into the swampy land without hesitation after quickly opening the canopy. Fearful that the crocodiles would attack her beneath the water. She wades swiftly through the flooded wetland until she reaches dry land.
Unluckily for her, she discovered that the land was not so dry as she sank deeper with each step. Until she gets stuck in the middle of the "dry" patch, waist deep. Abby attempted to send a distress call before things worsened, but no one answered. As she went deeper, the mud gradually filled her unfastened space suit.
Fortunately for her, a vine is nearby, strapped to a log. It could be her lifeline. She turned her head towards it, reaching out in the hope that it would be strong enough to pull her out...

Abby was raised by some barkbarians, so she knows how to survive in the wilderness. Though this doesn't look like an easy planet to put those skills to work on.
Aaaaa! Thank you so much for drawing this! The flavor text/story thing you made to go with it is SUPER neato too! I love that you picked up on the retro sci fi influences in the ref and gave her such a fun shuttlecraft, and the swamp looks gooey as it always does in your work. Fantastic.
