My favorite piece from you so far. I like your use of color and composition to juxtapose themes of loneliness and... 'summer spirit?' Like, this scene could easily involve a party, but instead we get this one sad creature in a lake in the middle of an otherwise lovely day. They're not even in the primary focus of the frame, further emphasizing their own thoughts of depression and meaninglessness.
