I don't care anymore. This sinking feeling of waiting to be booted off this site for no reason. I'll say what needs be said. At the risk of drawing the ire FA's corrupt staff
DO NOT TRUST THE LEADERSHIP OR THE ADMINS OF THIS SITE
FA has made it very clear they are not doing any of this with the best interest of their community and don't care who it hurts. The absolute disarray they have left this site in, is inexcusable. If you think your voices were heard at all, I fear most, they were not. Even their discord channel dedicated to community feedback of this rule was shut down as soon as they were called out for actively deleting valid criticisms in real time. It was only meant to stall and contain the outrage of many heartbroken and angered users and artists. I am more than convinced they are willing to roll out 2.7 unimpeded, to our dismay. Even if they do roll this policy back or pause to revise it, so little trust if any remains at this point, due to their inactivity and slowness to address the panic and harassment of their users.
Do not believe it stops there with Pokemon or Digimon. With no real guidelines plus their misguided ideas to what they constitute as "child like", we are at the mercy of malicious intent of false reports and the egregious bias of admins if our art does not meet their unrealistic standards. You are a target if you're a nsfw artist. Especially for cute cartoony anythings or rule 34 in general. This won't just target short characters for long. And by their criteria for example, Renamon for being rookie evo would count as a CHILD. You know it's bad if FA leaders cannot give a straight answer to one of history's biggest furry bait character is going to be allowed here or not anymore. And pokemon not evolved are children? Even the ones that don't evolve at all? No real fan of these franchises wrote these asinine takes for what counts as young. As I said, this will bleed into other fandom works too if not already. Zootopia, Animal Crossing, anything nintendo, cute ,goofy, games and shows in general that would normally have the attention of the furry community. And to judge our work soley if it looks like a kid to some degree is just insane. People aren't going to have the same art style. And comparing these characters unrealistic anatomies to real life kids and animals is just sick thinking to begin with.
I can say a lot but not much I can do other than just say no, this isn't right. FA is willing to sacrifice the corner stones of furry fandom art for the sake of protecting children. Even though this is one of the biggest outlets of nsfw furry art ever! And children shouldn't be involved here anyway. My only advice at this point, don't support those who hate you. But they don't hate your money do they? I'm not sure what reason could have justified this insane rule, but i'll tell you this. It's not worth an FA+ sub. Come July 1st or sooner if they want broken and vocal users like me silenced, i'll likely have left this site. So far it just looks like they're trying to wait out the heat. If they don't say anything within the next month, I don't blame you for leaving.
I know this is long, but it'd be nice of you to share what I have to say with others going through the same. While you can. I'd love to be proven wrong if FA can take what we have to say seriously. But for now there is no trust left for me to give.

It's just performative.
Literally nothing in the rules changed.
The whole thing about Pokemon/Digimon was already in the rules to begin with.
It was a rule put into place in order to allow some leeway for artist who had characters of lower form pokemon and digimon at older ages.
The issue wasn't a "1000 year old dragon" loophole.
That was never once the case.
The issue was, there were artist on Inkbunny making explicit sexual art with pokemon and digimon, tagging them as cubs/underage,
and then posted the same pics to FA without the tags.
Normally this was a reportable offense, BUT
Mods were actively using the rule as an excuse to ignore the mismatched tags (which had always been accepted as proof)
in order to keep cub porn artists from being reported.
Whoever was in charge of the update got far over their head and used extremely sensitive language concerning the policy change,
which upset as many people as it did.
Again, said policy change wasn't so much a policy change,
but an internal decision to actually follow the rules and punish those actually breaking them.
Of course, literally right before the rule went active, they warned just about everyone and got them to delete reportable uploads.
Really tells you what's going on under the hood...

Speaking on the Disney, Cute, Zootopia Art style, I'm Holding out to see what Artists Carrot and Yurusa Do. If they stop posting and /or Get Their art deleted which causes them to leave the site, Then I'm nuking my account, because I'm following in their footsteps in terms of my art style. It's sad Cuz I had Just Got My Page Neat and Organized too, RIP. People Hate on Ink Bunny but It seems that it And E6 are the only true Free furry Spaces left.
We wouldn't complain if this didn't affect non cub artists. Cub should be axed out right, yes. But putting the axe to many people's work who are nothing of the sort cuz of how goofy, cute, cartoony, and short suddenly should count as underage? At least E6 has a blacklist function to blot out crap I don't want to see including cub, scat, fart, guro etc. A lot of things I don't like, but if i'm given the option of "out of sight, out of mind", it's not my problem. This rule has the potential to cut nsfw and rule34 art in half or worse. And I refuse to support it if that's the outcome to be.
