Lord Adrian Arnwood. Is Nevilios's Grandfather and Nyx's Father.

Adrian was a Player Character in the world of Alteria that I played under another Dungeon Master.

We did not play useing game stats.

Adrian started out as just a young half elf trying to survive on the streets, stalking at night through people's homes and shops, stealing what he could to be sold for profit. though he never stole from the poor. only the rich deserved to be stolen from, especially from those who Hoarded their fortunes for selfish gains. Adrian was attracted to money and power and desired to be a noble one day. He would eventually get his wish.

Boarding a ship owned by a noble (Later revealed to be a Vampire Count whom Adrian Befriended and who would be his first lay) Adrian would eventually end up on the Island of the Countess Daevon. Who was a cruel and ruthless mistress to whom Adrian was recruited by the aforementioned Noble whom he slept with. Adrian took the job because the isle was promised to him by the Noble. And Adrian believed the Noble would keep his word (He did, for his own sake).

For one week straight. Following a series of close encounters with various strange entities, and a handful of near heart pounding instances of getting close to the Countess, Adrian was able to learn the countesses weaknesses. holding his own not only physically, but mentally against all of Her mental invasions. He even had Some help from a friendly Imp who named themselves Mox and appeared to Adrian as a young man of equal age. Mox would later become a love interest for Adrian and they would wed later on. but first. they had to deal with the countess.

During that week Adrian acquired his own set of twin swords, Ragna and Wraith. two blades that held incredible powers. even though at the time he would not realize where the power came from. it was believed the swords provided that power. and armed with these weapons, Mox and several other allies. Adrian would go up against the countess and defeat her.

After which, Adrian would take claim of the island and all its inhabitants would vow loyalty to him. He returned the favor with their freedom and made the island its own Micronation and democracy.

When the Original Noble came to Adrian and saw what he had done. He was at first proud of Adrian for his accomplishment. only to reveal his true nature to Adrian and Attempt to Bite and transform Adrian into his vampire spawn/thrall.

This Proved to be the Nobles undoing. as It turned out. Adrian wasn't a half elf at all. but in fact. a Mystic, whose lineage could be traced to one of the last True Blooded Mystics from the old World (Atheria). Why is this significant? Because in Alteria Vampires (the original vampires in Alteria) were all mystic who were tricked into coming to Alteria and cursed with unlife, and when a mystic becomes an undead, they are vampires. but Adrian did not turn into a vampire when bitten.

Instead his bloodline was from one of the Hidden Lords whose bloodlines are immune to the curse of unlife. The Only clue we have as to Whose bloodline it is are his Eyes, took on the pattern of a Lotus flower and then turned Purple.

The moment the noble bit him and his true powers were revealed. Adrian proved to be more powerful than the Noble and for his betrayal. Adrian Slew the vampire noble with the purple flame and all vampires from that day forth would be hunted by Adrian and his own band of hunters he calls the "NightBlades".
