It took me forever to find the video for this! It is an isolated clip from one of Lauren Faust's panels from BronyCon 2019 that I attended alongside Peep, Ari / Saphy, Doodle Noodle, and Wayward Pony. In it, she explained how Spike's G4 MLP: FiM design was based upon the way a diaper-clad toddler looked as they scampered about.

I was truly surprised to hear Lauren Faust mention this at BronyCon. It made me wish I could have recorded her saying this bit of trivia, but my talents in audio and video recording are not quite developed as of yet...
