Just want to show how far I got on this project. I doing a 3D version first so I can see if I can’t do it this way if not then I’ll have to do it in 2D.
So far I got half of the body the hard part will be the eyes and clothing.

Heh no. I've never needed to actually.
I played with Lightwave years ago then moved over to Softimage which is what I use today. I have Maya and Max at my disposal, but I'm more comfortable working in Softimage anymore :)
It's nice to see someone working in Blender though as it shows the folks wanting to get into 3D that it is a viable option and spending insane amounts of $$$$ on the commercial apps isn't required :)
