There are not words for how much I love this but I WILL STILL MAKE WORDS, DARNIT! It is so heartwarming to get artists that take into account things like a character's personality or interests and so this artwork just made me feel so darn happy ahhhh~! I super duper love that you had her mushroom-collecting, and with her knife as one ought to have when collecting specimens of fungi or flora! I also really like how the chilly colors of the background go super well with the character's palette but also go excellent with her warm clothing aaaand the good fall weather for mushrooms to sprout! intentional or otherwise, these small details come together so nicely and make for such a good atmosphere for the picture!! I also just really like stuff like how you did the highlights on the hair, and her little pupils and tired-looking eyes yet upbeat expression (tired eyes are so hard for me to draw aahhhh this is literally 100% the look I want for her and I'm so hype to see it done perfectly oh my goshhhhh) and golly, the shading on the clothing is absolutely stellar!! Can I also just say how cool it is that you can suggest a complex forest with otherwise simple shapes, yet the trees and grasses feel so alive?! it amazes me endlessly~! I really love the colors you picked for the shading across the piece too, your color coordination is off the charts! super amazing~!! I wish I had the skills you do with palettes, your use of color here inspires me so much!!
