My dad finally turned the big 60 so I made his favourite kind of cake and I even let him decorate it too!

Here’s how I did it:
1-prepared box of yellow cake mix as per instructions on the box and baked for 28 minutes at 325 (I layered in cookie dough pieces inside the cake)
2-after cooling overnight and shaving the top off of the cakes I layered jam in the middle between the cakes (I used wildberry jam)
3-I frosted the outside cake with chocolate frosting, then i used cookie to make the “sun” and white gel icing for the big “60” in the middle, and finally finished the decor with some rainbow sprinkles
4-serve and enjoy!
