Basically the dragons in my lore have the ability to put themselves in a crystalized state should they find themselves in a life-or-death situation, but there's no telling how long they will stay like that. These two are mates and the crystalized one has stayed frozen for centuries while the other one has been trying to find a way to wake them up throughout all those years
