After roughly two hours, we finally arrived at our goal. Before I left, the driver slipped me $2. A welcoming surprise!
While walking down the main street towards the hotel, I was wondering if it's going to house me in the first place. Not all hotels were either able or willing to house me for various reasons, which I'm not gonna start to list. In those cases, I either slept in the stables of a ranch or I had to put up a camp in the wild again.

Upon entering the building, I walked up to the reception desk and asked the owner if there were any fitting rooms free for me.
He said he'd have one, but all the rooms are on the second floor. Seeing the disappointment in my face, he told me that there's a ranch nearby and that I should try it there. I gave him a slight smile, tipped my hat, and turned to leave.
