Before I could leave the building, gunshots enacted from outside. Instinctively, I took cover behind a wall while drawing my revolvers and peaking out of the door down the road.
I saw people running out of the bank. Next, I was expecting some outlaws storming out. But instead, surprisingly, it was a trio of native americans. They ran across the main street into a side road, with money bags under their arms.
In the next moment, I saw a bunch of people coming down the road. Probably the sheriff and a bunch of other lawmen.
When they went around the corner, more shots were heard, and the sheriff and two more men went down, followed by war cries from the natives. The remaining lawmen gave covering fire while dragging the wounded into safety.
Soon, I heard the sound of hooves before I saw them, through the windows, running past the hotel on the other side.
That was the moment when I decided to give chase to them.

As expected, they shot at me when they noticed me. I could hear the bullets whizz past close to me. Luckily, I managed to actually hit them.
The first two let go of the money bags and slumped forward before falling off their horses.
The third and last one, I hit him in the shoulder, still causing him too to let loose of the money bag and fall off. As he tumbled across the floor, I quickly slowed down before standing above him, pointing my gun at him.
