Enjoy... and laugh.
People are crying because Ariel was black. Just watch and listen carefully, Awkwafina, and you will forget everything that was not good in that movie.
NO REQUEST/NO GIFTART/NO ARTRADE!
If you want a Commission, ask me privately; if you want a free drawing and beg for a Request/Giftart/Artrade, I'll automatically ban you. Nobody is working for free.
When you go to the shop to buy food, you don't ask the vendor if you can get a free meal.

Xiiii… Disney may regret making the live-action The Little Mermaid. It turns out that the remake did not attract audiences and registered a drop in the worldwide box office.
Two weeks in theaters, the film could cause a millionaire loss to the studio if it does not manage to reverse the condition. Disney needs to reach $800 million to avoid losing money.
It is worth remembering that the budget of The Little Mermaid was US$ 250 million, without considering the publicity expenses – which cost more than US$ 140 million.
Box Office Mojo data points out that, so far, the live-action has raised about US$ 327 million worldwide. Of this amount, the United States and Canada contributed US$ 186 million.
Even though the film performed relatively well at the domestic box office, the international numbers have worried experts, who saw Disney's work grossing just $ 141 million.
"Not a huge disappointment, but a disappointment nonetheless," a film financial expert told Deadline.
About The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid is a Disney animation released in 1989. It is based on a Danish fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen in the 19th century.
It was the 28th animated film released by Disney and started a "golden age" of these animations that lasted throughout the next decade.
The film tells the story of Ariel, a mermaid daughter of Triton, the king of the seas. She has always been very interested in the culture of surface humans and ends up falling in love with the human prince Eric.
Unable to live with him, as he is a marine being, she ends up looking for the evil sea witch Ursula to help her live with her beloved.
The animated feature spawned a series, in addition to two other films released directly to home video, a sequel and a prequel.
Disney created a live-action adaptation of the work, released first in theaters.

"YouTuber and box office analyst OMB Reviews declared The Walt Disney Company's The Little Mermaid is “a massive flop for Disney” following the film's second weekend at the box office."
"The Little Mermaid grossed just $2.63 million at the box office in China over its opening weekend, making it one of Disney's worst openings in 2023. But this didn't come as a surprise to observers since early reactions and pre-sales figures indicated as much."

Well, it's a matter of taste. I think this Awkafina is a synonym of this word: terrible in the dictionary, and a real proof that if you have money, you can do anything, no matter how talentless you are; you just need a good manager to push you everywhere. Which describes this cringe-worthy world and the hopeless attitudes in Hollyood. :)
