I built a swing out stool for the work bench, since I thought it could use one.
Making the thing was a little tricky, I had to do some welding, (ugly welds) and riveting as well as some hot bending.
The whole thing slips out from under the workbench and goes right back under so it's out of my way when I am standing up at it.
I can finally sit down at a workbench and tinker with things with comfort knowing the chair I sit on will never be in my way and will always be there when I need it.

The chair is actually part of a cheap Vietnamese made rubber wood chair you'd find thrown out occasionally. I happen to like rubberwood, so it's fine. You could probably see the scraps of the rest of the white painted chair under the workbench.
