So what happens when you get one of those weird ideas that *should* work?
You sculpt a really lackluster suit in 2 days to test it of course. XD
Obviously this suit isn't as detailed, but its more of a test of things to come than a final suit. Now, you may be wondering why there is a pipe coming from his mouth... Well, unlike most suits, this will have NO ZIPPER, NO VELCRO, and NO SEAMS.
Of course, that leads to the question of "how do you get in?". Well, through the mouth of course! I tested the stretch of silicone, and it should theoretically work :3

*nods* for safety id recommend you add a small metal plate somewhere just as a hit zone to pierce the silicone in case of emergency that way medic team can remove it without stabbing you in the process (sure suck to lose a suit but if you drink plenty and watch yourself should be fine and yeah bathroom breaks XD.
my second fear is that you cannot sweat in this suit, and i don't know about the actual heat dissipation it can provide

nakourou: I truly dont think it will be a worry for me, besides, even if i put a metal plate in, how would the paramedics know where to look for it? (plus it would be very noticeable). Silicone also dissipates heat much better than latex or foam. its actually cold to the touch when you first pick it up.
dracosilv: Ive thought about holes in the feet for sweat and things, but im worried about what happens if i walk through a puddle or something similar. The mouth will need to open from corner to corner to accomodate actually getting in XD. As far as strechiness goes, something as thick as your neck can easily stretch to more than 40 inches in circumfrence, potentially more.

You're definately more worried about this than I am hehe. If you look at the latex community, many of them wear full rubber for long periods of time... and exert themselves in the process. I doubt I'll be doing anything so strenuous, and should be fine. I will definately test it though, and put in vents if it gets bad though. Dont worry!
That sounds like a good idea actually. Disguise ventilation system as normal parts of the anatomy. Gills, or scale overlaps could have holes in them small enough not be easy to see unless you look really close, but big enough to do the job of cooling and breathing. An interesting idea on a suit though. Something I might consider, but yeah, sweat and overheating issues, as well as emergency escape would be my main concerns with this design idea.
Ever put on leather pants, wear them for a while (sweat a bit) then try to take them off? They stick to you and the friction makes them really hard to pull up or down lol
So I forsee you getting into this suit just fine, then when you try to peel yourself out...you'll have a looot of trouble...
But Pretty awesome idea regardless! Just make sure you have a friend with you to help you 'escape' if the need arises! haha
