The idea I had for this is Jager was requested to go to a certain location somewhere in New Vegas, and was injected with a fertilized embryo as part of an experiment. Jager perhaps didn't catch on until much later obviously. Was a little too busy thinking about all the caps he could work with while he waited for 9 months.
Mayhaps I'm lowballing... 👀 perhaps the 1000 caps is just the upfront cost. The rest of the payment comes later.
