I guess it has been like 4 years since I last uploaded an abalo; I have drawn more, but they were more just parts of sketch pages and stuff rather than anything remotely finished.

I keep thinking "Gee should I do that for mine? It's AWFULLY DARN CUTE" but then there is this tug-o-war between the part of me who remembers the sci-fi lore and "well they'd just get some kind of implant or eye augmentation," and the part who remembers that you specifically just sometimes design on the rule of cool/cute!
For now, indecisiveness is winning.

Sometimes there's something to be said for more robust analogue solutions too; a pair of glasses doesn't need a complex procedure to replace and is going to work under any conditions unlike an implant. Is cheaper and easier to fabricate, and doesn't require special care to insert/remove like contacts
