This piece was done right before Eurofurence. I ended up using this one as a demonstration on how I work on my paintings step by step. I have a huge passion for birds and after doing this particular painting it’s made me want to paint anthropomorphic birds. I really want to do some crows, magpies, vultures and of course hummingbirds!

I like it. ^^ You always managed to breing out those wonderful fur tones, and the trees and background are a nice touch. Uhm...how long do you think it took you? I'm curious, and I wouldn't know, as I can't paint yet. XD

Just gotta love your detail in your art! His hair/fur actually looks somewhat greasy in some areas(as in unwashed)

You do them so extremely well Natasha. In fact, your style for drawing birds look extremely close to how someone else that I know of draws them, so realistic & majestic.
