D'awwwh!
Poor Barbarian girl... I'd totally like to try to comfort her, she looks so sad and hurt that I just want to try to make it better somehow...
...Unless I'm fleeing the area at top speed to avoid the blood fury that's coming two seconds after she stops crying when tha' rage takes over.
Depends on who killed whoever... if someone else...well, I'm not sure I'd ever want to even KNOW what happens to them next, and I started fleeing 30 seconds ago. But if it was her, while using that very same blood fury?
In that case, step one would be to remove all weapons to a securely locked nuclear bunker (you KNOW she can bash anything less than a nuclear-rated blast door with only her fists, and given a broken sword might be able to get the blast door too), and THEN with the comforting.
Poor girl. :(

Drake.... Damn, U got me on this one, mann.
Good Work on a PIC that brings about the Absolute Worst in a situation; one that has Great Emotional Depth on something that could Never be Forgotten or Overlooked. No matter How hard U try to think about Other ways in dealing with it, it comes down to what she just said...
-You can't save everyone-
I wanted to see her again, mann; Hell, I'll admit, B! I'm quite fond of her. But, I just didn't want to see her cry; especially after the loss of many that's fallen as she tried to save them.
-I Really hope to see her in again in Better Days, my friend; hopefully-
Thanks again 4 the post, B! U made me sad, mann; that's too cruel even 4 U, mann. Later -Sob, Sob-
-Someone needs to be there 4 her, my friend; just seeing her like that gives depression a Huge understatement- -Hugs-

Thanks! That was a nice one, although I think this is my best: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1244449/
Yeah, but that's never stopped me or the other staff at the veterinary practice I work for from trying. I would be lying if I said we always succeeded, but we've made some good saves.
Heck, there are a couple of dogs we see on a regular basis that came in with their hearts stopped. Now there is stuff that, when you manage to pull it off, will have you floating home on endorphins.
Particularly as one of them was a pup who came in drowned. The same thought goes through my head every time I see her, "When I first met you, you were dead". But then she play-growls and tugs at my pant legs.
As the man said, there is a difference between mostly dead and all dead. That little gap is what the work is about.

OH FUCKING YES I CAN!
I went back in fucking time to save my npc friends,
and I've repeatly pulled people away from death's door countless times.
I have lost no one as long as I use Baylith.
but that's his thing, ya know?
I will bring you back no matter what gets in my way I've killed death itself! you think your liitle cosmic horror can stand up to me!?!

Now you see this is why you roll either a healer or a necromancer. What can a warrior do when someone is laying their bleeding out from who knows how many wounds? Typically not much. A healer just says a few words and here we go. Naturally it's quite maddening when they're already dead and for some reason you can't use your resurrection spell despite having it in the first page of your spell book. That's where necromancers really shine though. No need to give up your loved ones when you can command the spirits of the dead to return. Sure some say it's a mockery of life but isn't ending your own grief what's important?
