A couple years ago, I read "The Neverending Story" for the first time. It got pretty cerebral for a children's fantasy novel. If you liked the movie, please give the book a chance, it's so much better (I still like the film for nostalgia purposes, but it did not do the book justice. Even the author disliked it, lol).
