Hosni Mubarak was the President
Of Egypt, on the Nile
He was worse than Anwar Sadat
He was worse than Muhammad Naguib
He was worse than Gamel Nasser
He was the worst-
Since Ramses the First!
Mubarak was living like a king, but the people were living rotten.
So the people, they started an uprising which they called the Revolution of Rage, and of course you remember their battle cry, which will never be forgotten:
(small piano intro):
You went the wrong way, Old Pres Hosni.
You made the population cry.
'Cause human rights you tried to bar
While you smoked a cigar
At your place in Sinai.
And now old Cairo looks like Grozny.
And revolution's in the air.
You're just a corrupt shnook
Go take a good look now
Down at Tahrir Square.
If you had been a nicer Pres,
Just smile and wear a fez,
We wouldn't have a single beef.
We're gonna run you out of town
You nasty little clown,
And breath a sigh of great relief.
You went the wrong way, Old Pres Hosni.
Now we must put you on the shelf.
That's why the people are revolting, 'cause Hosni,
You're pretty revolting yourself!
