Pierre Jacques "Jacob" Reinard is the father of Judith Gwendolyn Reinard and Magdalene Glendale Reinard. Born on July 8, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is of French Jewish descent and raised in a wealthy family. Jacob served in the Vietnam War as a United States Navy fighter pilot, he was one of the first fox naval aviators. After the war, he became an airline pilot for Atlantic Eastern Air Lines until his retirement in 1990. He then served in the airline's executive board as director of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative; a position he held from 1992 until his resignation in 2010. He is closer with Judy and inspired her to be an aviator. Since 2015, he has been living in retirement in Miami, Florida, with his wife.
Mei Reinard, née Zhao (Zhao Mei) is the mother of Judith Gwendolyn Reinard and Magdalene Glendale Reinard. Born on October 27, 1955, in Guangzhou, China, she is the cousin of a high-ranking CCP official who served as a senior cabinet minister. Mei migrated to the United States in the 1960s with her parents, who had a disagreement with the said CCP official. They first settled in San Diego, Calif., before moving to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 1970s. Mei met Jacob in 1977 and married a year later. She is Jacob's second wife; his first wife and two children with her were involved in a tragic car accident in 1969. She gave birth to Judy and Lina in 1980. She is closer with Lina and inspired her to be more than a fox. Mei has been a ceramic artist since the 1970s, her works have been displayed in various art exhibits and sold internationally. Mei currently lives in Miami, Florida, with her husband, she still does pottery. Lived long enough to see her her daughter becoming the 50th President of the United States.
