I saw her gnaw on one at first, but after that she acted like they weren't there at all and didn't bother her. These are the large sized caps and they were barely large enough for her. Feep's a big girl.

I think I got an off brand but they worked just the same. that site should leastwise tell you the basics and such. You have to trim your cats claws down and then apply the cap. You put some glue in the cap and then put it over the trimmed claw. Earplugs to tune out the howling shrieks of rage probably help too.

Colored caps are great because it's easier to see which ones are missing since the individual claws shed at different times. I was using these on my cat on her hind-claws while she was having a scratching issue, the only issue that the vet warned me about was that sometimes the caps can keep a shedded claw from coming off, so make sure you check those claws regularly. I only had it happen once or twice and all I had to do was clip the tip and the shedded claw was able to release.

Hey Feep, with pink clawcaps folks will underestimate you and that will make the horror you unleash upon them all the sweeter. ^^

They are cool though XD. I do believe in De-clawing though so I don't have that problem.

They retract just fine, and you keep them on the same way you could keep on fake fingernails. (she's got her claws out in the photo because she didn't like me taking her photo) The caps are very carefully glued on.

I do this to my cat before leaving her to go to parts unknown so she can't maul her sitter. Once they're on, you can't tell her that she's not mauling the furniture the same as before...she knows she is.

well since you cant put nail polish on them I suppose that's one way... just remember putting them in a tube sock makes them lethargic.

They do, but they also take a lot of care to put on, and you have to watch the claw growth as some won't fall off and need to be trimmed free or else they might eventually grow into the cat's foot as they extend with the growing claw.
