With the sunlight fading, and her fluffy coat no longer providing floatation, Absol's time above the surface began to dwindle. Her arms were still stuck in the tight grip of mire, leaving her rescue options limited. A rope would be no good if she couldn't grab onto it! With her resolve completely shattered, she began to accept her fate, allowing the soft silty mud to flow into her mouth. Now, fully submitting to the quicksand, she blew out several thick, gooey bubbles as she waited for the creek bed to claim her.... No! She still needs to have hope! Perhaps a psychic adventurer heard her earlier cries for help?

I don't know how I feel about sinking sequences. They take so much longer to finish, and I can't spend nearly as much time on the details. However, I do enjoy the visual progression. I couldn't shake the itch to make a sinking sequence followup to my previous post. Expect Pt.3 and Pt.4 on the way. Enjoy!
