Not long ago, I decided to upload a cover art for A Sly Encounter , which is an ongoing comic that features Sonic the Hedgehog and his allies teaming up with Sly Cooper as they try to thwart the dastardly plans of Dr. Eggman and Dr, M . This variant cover page has Sally Acorn as the focus, but not as you would assume, since in most media Sally is often depicted as a small anthropomorphic chipmunk, but did you know in the early stages of development over on Sonic Satam. Sally Acorn was a human. Yeah, apparently DIC, the company that made Adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Satam had in mind to depict Sally Acorn as a human girl. This effort was perhaps made to align themselves with what SEGA of Japan who wanted to give Sonic a human girlfriend named Madonna, but at the end of the day, DIC decided to depict Sally Acorn as a chipmunk and the rest is history.
