I am aware that a lot of musicians and artists here in FA very much live in fear of their Inner Critic. I'm here to say that just because an idea pops into your head all by itself is by no means an indicator that it's true. Some ideas are hurtful to your self esteem and well being, and need to be countered by declaring that you are a person of value, and that you belong in this world.

The Inner Critic, I can tell you from experience, is a pretty persistent adversary. You have to keep shouting it down and outlasting it.
