MASTER OF ILLUSIONS
by A. Griffin
Master of Illusions,
it's all about mainstream media collusion,
a bad man with bad intentions in action,
bread and circus sporting events
to keep the keep the masses distracted,
and complacent.
This movie was put out by Nintendo, not PlayStation.
And the bad guy owns it all,
his monopoly is too big to fit in one box,
and his boxes of dirty tricks are deep,
makes the people after the truth
have to think quick on their feet.
And his shiny metal box
has a big bad fox in it.
Everyone knows a fox is a natural born trickster too,
and if you don't watch out
the fox will play you for a fool,
makes mirages appear straight from where the air turns thin,
and under villain coercion,
the fox answers to him.
This guy's business dealings really do need to be inspected.
Raise an eyebrow when he buys up all of the presses,
and presses them to press forward his self-indulgent messages.
Insider trading? It's like he has future-sight.
But he pays off the authorities
and tells them to take a hike.
And the TV networks march to his dictation,
so his lies are broadcast across every station,
and he's got the illusion fox in his pocket
to trick the nation.
His plan was decades in the works,
deadly patience,
and a sick mind,
but the doctors aren't treating this patient.
Puts his sly fox to work to maintain the ruse,
but the illusions are imperfect,
and the observant ones aren't amused.
By means unknown, the villain can see the future,
and sees a plot to cut into his plan
so deep it'll need sutures,
he senses a bunch of meddlers who smell his trouble,
and their noses are on him like a bloodhound -
he better look out,
when they're around.
His enemies are young and optimistic,
for adventure they always search,
and these are some tough kids
that did their research.
They know his history of shady deals
and messed up schemes,
and that he plays high stakes
with the Joker in his sleeve.
Dealing from the bottom?
For him that's standard,
and breaking the rules of decency
is mandatory.
Surveillance drones,
henchmen,
and armored trucks,
stack the deck,
and the news outlets
that were meant to look into this
are all bent.
He needs some kind of excuse
for all of his wanton abuse,
anyone to point the finger at,
excepting himself -
so he'll contrive a disaster
and pin the blame
on someone else.
Use the fox to tell a tale
where he's the hero,
but the virtue detector scans him
and reads zero.
He wants to rule it all,
and he's not kidding,
he's a supervillain,
and the fox at his command
has dark powers
to do his bidding.
A wise man once said
that a fox has a bushy tail,
but this messed up tale is long enough,
and it's time to cut through the fluff.
Putting an end to this funny stuff would be my pleasure.
I won't call it a conspiracy,
but when it's measured,
it happens to be cons and piracy,
mixed together.
From his big city skyscraper
he exerts his power,
puts fake stories on the web,
to make his enemies cower.
The plot to increase his reach
will kill all the trees and flowers,
but the devastation looks tiny from atop of his tower.
The good guys have an indie reporter on the case,
but all alone, he can't infiltrate the enemy's base.
He needs allies with special skills to divert this disaster,
and battle like Ash Ketchum
training to become a master.
Then it's time to take the fight
into the ring that's underground,
slide in through the hidden tunnel that lies deep down.
The henchmen will sneak around
to try and to run them aground,
but our villain's an outsider,
and this was never his town.
But that alone isn't enough,
fighting corporate evil is rough,
and his head-on attack against the heroes
split the team up.
But they've got an ace in the hole,
his evil plan is a no-go!
Reverse-Uno!
If he could see the future,
he couldn't see this:
His secretary was a mole all along!
What a plot twist!
Now that they know
to break
the device on his wrist.
Ash and Pikachu have 100% got this!
There's no illusions now, just the path to victory!
Conclude the fight,
and protect the mythical Pokemon, Celebi!
Grings Kodai wanted to control the Pokemon World from sea to sea,
but he trolled himself by confessing on worldwide TV!
He tried to break Pokemon that wouldn't obey him like toys,
but now they're healed by Chansey and Nurse Joy!
Evil plots like this, sure, they come by the many,
but now Kodai is being locked up by Officer Jenny!
What?
Excuse me?
Was I causing confusion?
This is about "Pokemon The Movie 13: Master of Illusions".
I wasn't making some kind of deep allusion,
or being like Zoroark,
the tricky fox,
trying to fool ya.
I'm just having a rap about kid's cartoons, brah.
So have a nice day,
and don't forget:
Gotta Catch Em All!
This is one of those one's that's bound to get me in trouble, but with very different people depending on how far along they read before getting mad at me.
I went for the generic conspiracy theory imagery in the image to enhance the twist.
And yes, this poem is a 100% accurate description of the 13th Pokemon movie. I'm not even kidding.
