I found some old notebooks for university entering exams I made when I was a high school student.
They are really CRAZY.JUST CRAZY.Especially MATH.
Of course I fougot most of them.

For a long time until around 2003 series and study of its convergence was part of the curriculum on high school in Portugal.
And then when I entered college, they decided to teach this same thing only telling me that series that "converged" in the infinite were convergent series. And that cost me a year on that stupid class because of that stupid mishap.

Yeah, it makes sense to teach it in high school because it's one of the less boring and easier calculus subjects (aside from a lot of memorization for the testing of series, I don't think it's as difficult as the latter stuff like multivariable/vector calculus and differential equations). We never had matrix algebra/matrix theory either, which is sad because I think it's a lot more useful than most of the things taught in high school calculus.
Likewise! Then again Matrix Algebra/Matrix Theory (As taught these days) is relatively recent (Around the 20's, 30's I think), comparing to the majority of the stuff thought within the math curriculum. And stuff does take a while to go from discovered to becoming standard within a school curriculum.
I tried a national universiy so had to study differentiation and integration(I finally failed it though),but I was (of course now) even an academic student, not good at scientific subjects especially math.
At entering exams I got about 90% score at Japanese and English, about 80% at biology and chemistry, but my math score was about 50%!
American students have to study hard after entering, but Japanese universities put their important points on entering exams but students study in school so students don't study well in most universities.
(Universities are colled 'UTOPIA' in Japan)
Agriculture is scientific study, but most students in our university didn't study math well like me so once professors show them some mathematic symbols students get panic lol
Oh,so I can keep good score between fool students.I'm lucky.

just found a MIT Entrance Examination from 1869 / 1870 if you want to compare them
