This art piece was gifted to me by  Roobin , but it's no ordinary gift and I have to explain.

Some time ago I got an AB for a YCH which I requested to have posted under the title 'Friendly Noodle Dinner,' but left the exchange with less than I hoped for. After some time, I’d posted the YCH and voiced my thoughts out loud. Though my errors showed how blind I was, for how I couldn’t allow myself to put in the effort and ask for more editing. My ego claimed that nothing good would come of it, and that I’d just have to live with something I thought was unfinished, in turn leaving me with feelings of malcontent. The artist quickly reached out however, and quite soon after seeing my post with an eagerness to make amends, something I had no prior expectation of.

I don’t exactly love, or care for a lot of what she depicts in the field of artistry, and having high standards just seems to make it harder for me to accept anyone for who they are. But I have a respect for her now that I never expected to find, because she put in the effort to help me even though I hadn’t asked for it.  Roobin is a talented artist, you should go check her out.

P.S. I know this was a gift, but I’ll find some way to repay you.

Seala is one of my 5 oldest Characters, the originals, where the lore began. And she's extra special to me because writing a story for her was one of the key things that revealed to me just how much I love to write. And showed me how I wouldn't want to live in a world where being an author isn't my purpose.
