This is my lad Iko. He's actually a demon, but he walks the moral realms as a canine and often has one of his hounds with him. He doesn't like to be alone. I saw this YCH for him and was like Yes, this really captures the feeling of what it was like when left the nest. Iko is an incubus but a unique species of hyper social cubi that lives in a colony headed by a queen. After growing up the son of said queen and seeing all the stresses his mother has to balance while taking everything onto her own shoulders, he decided that he wanted a different lifestyle for himself. But also, that he was getting to be rather incompatible with her current consort.
So he took to the road, and invested in his witch magic, and personal skills and it's been a long long way from home. As of recently he's found himself a rather charming partner. A Hunter of evil, semi ironic given that Iko's a demon. But Iko's not doing anything super evil really. Just getting by. These two are compatible and do seem to love and care for each other. I look forwards to seeing the next chapter of their life.
