With twitter being flaky lately, I wanted to have a stable place to post my art.

The reference that started it all by the amazing  autumnvulpine who knocked it out of the park with this.

They say the best characters are based on yourself and cranked up to 11. Nines is no different. A creation of mine that has been brewing for years now.

Originally from a story idea I had where the protagonist could see multiple timelines in front of them, and 'pick' which one they wanted to go down. Sometime my overthinking ADHD brain often does passively just going about life.

The idea evolved further with influences from Ann Leckie's Ancillary Justice, the first in a book series that deals with multiple selves interacting as a gestalt collective. As well as the video game "Outer Wilds", dealing with a single consciousness experiencing multiple timelines at once. Changing from seeing multiple timelines, to experiencing all branching timelines at once as a Multidimensional Quantum Gestalt Consciousness.

This was years before the hit film Everything, Everywhere, All at Once came out, but that's often what I point to as how best to describe a gestalt being. A community of the self.
