Lina moved out of the way, gently pulled up beside Lex and pressed her muzzle gently against his torso.

Lex wasn't expecting this. He'd never had a situation like this before, finding it hard to pick up words, hard to interact in any way, after what had happened. He tentatively wrapped his arms around his muzzle as best he could and pressed his head slightly against the bonnet.
Lina fell silent for a moment, but Lex decided to feel sorry for her. He pitied her and pitied her, until of course the car got bored, she grumbled a little, drove around the spacious garage for a bit, but still went back and crouched down again.
