Last year, as you may know, I drew a tribute picture of Jon Lord a few months after his death.... and after my mother's idea. Then she also wanted me to draw him a portrait from the early years of the band, when she was young and the Deep Purple music was her great passion. So I did, with a year of delay x.x
I haven't drawn portraits in a while and this is evident. I'm trying to restart my habits, but they are trying to resist. Wish me luck.

This is actually a picture I remember from a vinyl album cover we had when I was a child. I think that's why I picked it.
