My motto for the week!

For (about the past 10 years), every year, a forest catches on fire. Entire towns burn down. And every year, people are surprised when it happens again. "Oh, hey, somewheresville British Columbia just burnt down, care to donate for our neighbors up north?"
Just arrest your pyros and stop letting unattended campfires be set by phone-zombies.

Well, usually the smoke stays more or less in the Great White North. ;)

Truth is, Triple M, we here in Canada feel a bit bad that those in the U.S. have had to put up with our wildfire smoke the last few weeks.

I guess some good news is that the U.S. will be sending some cross-border assistance to try to get those flames out.

And for that, I thank the U.S. for extending that hand right now, as I also thank firefighters from South Africa for joining in too.
