Apparently Trina approves of this new picture of her.
This pic of my dork was a gift of the mysterious fmirsokp, sometimes also known as bimshwel:
fmirsokp, who doesn't seem completely well, since it was offering these free sketches of female characters: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/fmirsokp/.
It looks as if this offer is still standing, so If you wish to also have a pic of your character posing with a pinecone, follow the instructions in that post before they inevitably lock this thing up.
*Note: This free offer is now closed.
Original posting here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52440062/ If you wish to fave this, do it there!
I'll just take this opportunity to note that I am disappoint that I have more faves here than fmirskop has on it's posting of this.

When I read the caption I thought it was a salute to Trina Robbins, one of the first underground cartoonists of the late 60s (and who just passed away a few days ago ) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trina_Robbins
She more than deserves attention here on FA because of this character:

One of her regular characters; it was a secret thrill to read this back in the day when I was waaaaaaaaaaaay down deep in the furry closet. (But then again, this was like 20 years before furry got rolling as a thing.)

Oh, I hadn't heard. She was a legend. I remember seeing some of her work early on myself.
In a lot of ways I trace my interest in anthro characters back to underground comix and funny animal comics on the late sixties and early seventies. I discovered that stuff when I was about ten. I still have some of the stuff I bought back then.

Forgot to add my folks ran a candy store until I was 13 (when we moved from exciting NYC to the sterile suburbs) - I was the legendary "kid in a candy store." The comics racks were my lending library and there were still quite a few non-Looney Tunes/Disney funny animal comics.
