This was an amazing collage of characters Wackko did for me over 10 years ago. The Hapos in their earliest forms are all here. However, as is also noticeable, so are some new faces as well. These folks are all from the original parent story to the Haposaurs that is entitled Silmaria.
Truth be told, I actually wrote over a 200 page manuscript for Silmaria years ago as I developed the story about the Haposaurs. To this day, I strive to go back and give the story a proper re-write so the world in which Ducky, Lucky, and all their pals can have all the added depth that it deserves. However, for now, the Welcome to Saurral Manor series of Children's Books will be what I'm going with. At least until I finish Creative Campaign 2 and complete the series I've been eagerly looking forward to continuing about a visually impaired fox girl named Bo that is entitled Project: Ezil.
It's always amazing to see how far a work can come over the years. 10 years ago, if you had asked me, I would've never believed you if you told me that someone would've believed in my idea enough to not only help me bring it to life, but also make it a gazillion times better. Moreover, I would have never thought I'd be able to say that same person would capture the spirit of the story and character so much that it was as if he had been writing it alongside me all these years.
The above noted, it honors me to not only commission Nishi for his work, but also proudly display his name alongside mine on the final product for all who opt to read it to see. I may not become a mainstream published author, but I at least know the Hapos got the best chance they possibly could have at being what they could be thanks to the one, and only, Nishi. :)
