Four more characters for the setting, all from the Lupercal system within Federation space:
From left to right;
A cleric from Lupercal Secundus (colloquially Aquillea- headquarters of the Serenissima Commerce Guild)- The Reverend Father Agostino Dolfinus (age 55)
A paladin from Lupercal Prime (headquarters of the Magisterium)- Templar Leo Picolomineus (age 31), Captain of the High Inquisitor's personal guard
A soldier from Taurinia (the Duke of Taurinia is a potential claimant to the defunct crown of Aelia)- Lieutenant Karl Cuniberti (age 38), Taurinian cavalry
And a soldier from Parthenopea (subject to Asturian rule)- Lady Joanna Carafa-Procido (age 24), Lieutenant, 12th Parthenopean Tercio (heiress of Count Fredericus Carafa)
(Aquilleian clergy are unusual among the Magisterium's adherents in that they are permitted to wear red robes regardless of standing after passing the novitiate- generally black is favoured by the ordinary priests, amaranth for Reverend Fathers and Grand Clerics, with red generally reserved for a subset of the latter two ranks known as the 'Princes', tasked with selecting a new High Inquisitor whenever the post falls vacant. Besides the polities here named, a fair few other worlds in the system have their own lords, most of whom have historically been caught up in power struggles between past Chancellors and High Inquisitors.)

Thanks. I modeled Lupercal Secundus/Aquillea (and, by extension, the Serenissima Commerce Guild) off of the Republic of Venice- the bit about Aquillean clergy wearing red regardless of rank was my way of combining the Patriarch of Venice’s being permitted to wear red even when not a Cardinal, with the idea of some Corellian members of the Jedi being permitted to wear green-, Lupercal Prime being my stand-in for Rome, Taurinia being the Duchy of Savoy, and Parthenopea being the Kingdom of Naples- under Spanish rule at the end of the sixteenth century along with Sicily, Sardinia and the Duchy of Milan (hence my saying Parthenopea is under Asturian control).
Couldn’t resist throwing in a nod to the Guelph-Ghibbiline conflict as well.
