I finally wanted to open these up to any that were interested in my other personal side project involving this game! Well now you too can have yours or others' custom characters in the submarine game 'Barotrauma'.

Few things to know if you're interested in wanting one!
-Characters are implemented in a replacement overhaul of another mod, so there will still be other character models from it until I can one day replace the included models with different ones, fully replacing the vanilla human characters with more furry ones. Other characters from owners are included as well for the moment.
-Characters are all at a set height, and will mostly be plantigrade, though some species could have slight digitigrade traits.
-The characters are fully playable by you, yet they can also spawn randomly as other NPCs in the game, such as hired crewmembers, vendors, citizens, and enemies that you may have to kill.
-Yes, the mod is playable in multiplayer.
-For custom items, they are new to the game, and can be set by your choice of how to acquire them, or any other additional attributes that you would want on them.
-In case it needs to be said, you need to own the game to use this!
