But! Dutch had a major overhaul with a new line of combat gear specialised for his Starship unit

The Balugian Spec Ops/Medical/Assault/Recon Units (Aka: B-SOMAR Units) are a high class Secret op designed to coincide with special Starship Pilots fitted for Combat: The Vanguard's and Altaxons.

Dutch, pilot of the XBR-27 Altaxon Starship, one of the finest of the 30 ever made, is kitted with a Balugian Tactical Assault XR-25 Recon combat suit, Primary Protocol: Ghost

The Recon suit is primarily fitted with traversal functions. Key components are as such;

Osmeridian Grapplehooks- Designed to function like normal grapples allowing quick traversal, but the material is best known for Translocational properties. You only ever need one

Solarjets- With four main boosters located as a pack around the shoulder blades and two more secondary boosters by the lower back, this allows for basic flight aswell as more intricate maneuvers. Such as standing upside down or quickly dashing left and right

Hard Light Pathfinding- While the other suits have this function, none of them last as long as this. Designed to generate hard light panels below the operators feet or hands, essentially creating an entire playground of walls, floors and ramps for quick traversal

Protocol: Ghost- This function is a last resort, "Protocol 3: Protect the Pilot", if you will. If the suit registers too much sustained damage (i.e Unconscious, limbs failing or critical/excessive component failure), the protocol will initiate, forcing the user to momentarily shutdown in Maintenance Mode and signal onfield medics of their location for retrieval. Incase of critical emergencies, an Active Camoflauge will also initiate to ensure the user vanishes. Dutch had only used it once.... At least he thinks.

All suits are fitted with a light reactive shield and an AI of their choosing, as per mandatory regulations. He's lovingly nicknamed his AI "Skye"
