yeah, i don't understand how people find a balance between "my whole picture is the same two colors" and "i have no control over my colors at all".

for me it's like, the brush tool is OK and i just pick new colors every couple seconds, it's OK but can come out a little flat. and then the watercolor tool is OK but really hard to control! i'm coloring a white character and my brush goes over a bit of background and suddenly the white gets tainted with green smudges everywhere.
