DATELINE HOLLYWOOD: Toontown police yesterday arrested three stars from the popular Warner Bros television show Tiny Toon Adventures. Offisa Pup brought in B. Bunny, P. Duck and Johnny P. on charges of violating Toontowns curious impersonation law. The law states that toons may not dress as the opposite sex unless it is, 1) Vital to the plot, or 2) A good gag.
At the jail the trio, who were still clad in the feminine outfits they were wearing when arrested, claimed they were only dressed for a rehearsal for an upcoming episode entitled "To Wong Fur, Thanks For Everything, Julie Mewmar".
A Warner Bros spokesman denied that an episode of that name is on the production slate. But he did add "it's a neat idea."
Offisa Pup stated he at first thought the three 'ladies' were drunk because they seemed to be having difficulty walking. When he approached them it was apparent that they were not what they seemed to be, and the reason for their staggering was that they were having problems walking in their high heeled shoes.
Warners execs have not decided if any action will be taken against the stars.
The three were released by the Toontown PD after an evening of questioning, dinner and dancing.
