Warsaw Spire - watercolor on 50cm x 70cm paper, based on a photograph that had been sitting in my drive for almost a year now.
Since I very rarely draw and paint modern architecture, this was a much needed step out of my comfort zone as I had no crutch in the form of details to fall back on - which, incidentally, is also the sole reason behind the lack of contemporary urban environments among my artworks.
Sunset made for a more cheerful display of colors, as throughout most of the day this location is steel-gray.

That diagonal ray of light illuminating that edifice is so cool, this is so well done! I really like how you painted the picture.
The grainy effect on the sky looks like that because of watering it a lot Maciulek? That's what I'm thinking while I look at it, I have to practice more with watercolor.
