well, i cant say it looks bad. I really like the way watercolor blends but doing detail with it is a paaain. so is finding colors. i guess thats what watercolor pencils are for? anyways, detail shading is very difficult and i couldnt get it to work very well so I went ahead and penciled over the figure. but I'm still somewhat satisfied seeing as this is my first serious attempt with a traditional media and it wasn't completely ruined.

I like how watercolor has this fluffy soft quality to it. It evokes a touch of nostalgia in me, probably from all those picture books I read as a kid.
