Finally (at least for now), the Paldean form is based on the Spanish imperial eagle, which is considered the national bird of Spain and is known for its white shoulder markings. That made me think of the epaulettes on military uniforms, so I had the idea to turn it into a Fighting-type warrior with a red scar across its chest, which also makes it resemble the insignia of the Spanish army.
