This is a big ol handsome Ravel OC I commissioned from the excellent 
Cackling-Beast
If you look closely youll notice small mutations on his body. Patches of chitin and scales covering random parts of his body. He's mutated because of an addiction to parasites! Decades of constant self infestation has caused his body to change and form around the affects/abilities of parasites he uses. The small scuffs in his feathers/body is their from feathers peeling away and revealing formations of chitin on his skin
Kind of like an evolution to accommodate for the effects!
