Alright, so as you may know I LOVE DINOSAURS. A lot. And as much as I appreciate and love scientifically accurate renditions of them, I get tired of how downright anal people in the online art community are about "getting it right" and "being realistic" when it comes to dinosaurs.
Why is that, seriously?
What happened to when we were kids, and drawing dinosaurs was all about using your imagination to its fullest extent? Having fun? When dinosaurs were technicolor'd beasts who had as many spikes and doo-dads as you could fit on the things?
I used to be all "GRR JURASSIC PARK IS SO INACCURATE GRR" then I realized "Who cares, IT'S FANTASY, AND IT'S FUN."

FUCK YEAH TECHNICOLOR DINOSAURS. I agree with you, with people getting super creative with every other kind of character under the sun, it's weird that people get anal about dinosaurs. Especially because no one really knows what colors they were and all that.

This, this, and MORE this. I've had this happen a few times when I drew dinosaurs, and it was aggravating on many levels as how crazy some people get about it.
But anyway, much dinosaur love. There needs to be more pretty pretty ones around like this.

I seriously can't believe I never told you how great the colors are. <3 No, really, having a severe eyegasm over here.
I generally appreciate accuracy in art, but yeah, that doesn't automatically invalidate something from being a great movie/book/story/whatever or picture. C: Hell, t-rexes apparently had feathers, which I didn't put in my creamsicle soap label picture, BUT I STILL LIKE IT FINE.
