Season 4, Episode 35 "How Green is My Gallery" Delia Deetz's quirky artistic work is loved and appreciated in the Neither World, so much so she wins an art exhibit and is honored by being turned into a statue within it, but in different role of the dice, Delia is turned into a sculpture and when Lydia tries to rescue her mother from her fate, she too is turn into a work of art in the exhibit.

Reunited with her Mother, the work of art that was once Lydia tries to reassure her mom that they'll be rescued, but while Delia is delighted to see her daughter, shes loves being a sculpture and has gladly let its influence take over her and encourages Lydia to stay silent and do the same. Fighting the influence of what she's become is the only thing making Lydia able to free herself, without the ability to actually speak, she can't call upon Beetlejuice for help until she's human again....but her mothers loving but stern words to become a painting work its way into lydia's mind and gradually her paint solidifies and a painting is now what she is and shall be as both Deetz's minds go silent and simply exist in peace of mind.
