The real trick was getting this shaman to not look like any one particular tribe - took a couple hours getting lost in the back of Chicago's Field Museum's North and Northwest Coast exhibits, tucked all the way in the back, almost inaccessible and mostly completely dark since the eighties. (God knows how much longer we'll have those, for better or for worse - the Plains stuff is mostly replaced with installations from living plains tribe artists and musicians, which is great for them, but it's not very helpful for an artist trying to draw the questionably-sourced antiques. Can't please everyone. For those who aren't American, we have an incredibly long/complicated/tainted history with putting our tribes' crafts in museums alongside the slow genocide. We recommend not doing genocide. Also, stop drawing your damn fursonas in the sacred outfits. It's not a lot to ask.)

On a lighter note, threw a little Moebius on the wall. Hopefully it helps with the nose fever.
